Description
The Historically Local Speakers Series will feature the 101 Ranch which at its zenith encompassed 110,00 acres in the Ponca Indian Territory–and according to Michael Wallis, was the wildest, wooliest, and most unusual operation of its kind in the history of the American West. Historian Carol Mowdy Bond will provide a historical overview of this Oklahoma piece of history on Thursday, October 26, 7-8:30PM. There is no charge but registration is required here:
