DESCRIPTION:This online workshop on Sales and Indirect Tax Basics for Small Businesses is a collaboration between the Oklahoma Small Business Development Center and BDO\, USA\, LLP.  It will provide an overview of some of the State and Local Tax (SALT) issues presented when doing business outside Oklahoma.\n\n	Should your company be collecting sales tax in other states?\n	Do you need to file in other states even if you're not selling a taxable item?\n	Does it matter if you have inventory in other states?  \n\nThe presentation will be given in an format geared for a small business owner trying to stay in compliance.  Attendees will have the chance to ask the experts questions about these issues and will also receive a copy of the presentation. \n\nSpeaker is Tom Smith\, BDO\, Tulsa Office Managing Partner\, Southwest SALT Region Leader.
