She began as an accounting assistant when she was a teenager\, and since then has handled accounting responsibilities in payroll\, accounts receivable\, accounts payable\, auditing\, tax preparation\, and budgeting. While working full-time as an Accountant\, and working on her Masters degree at night\, Rachel made the decision to couple her career in accounting with a law degree\, so she could provide a strong defense for taxpayers who faced problems on the taxes they owed and had little understanding of accounting and the law.

\n\nHannah Schmitt owns The Treasury with her husband\, Brian. They opened this space in 2018 to be a productive space for local women. After working from home as a magazine editor for four years\, Hannah saw a need for a space where women could be productive and take care of daily business tasks\, without splurging on a private office.
\n\nThe Treasury is a haven where you can knock out your to-do list without the distraction of a sink full of dishes\, where you can have a client meeting in a quiet conference room without your kids screaming in the background\, and most importantly\, where you can build meaningful relationships with other amazing local women.
