DESCRIPTION:Celebrating it's 34th year in 2016\, the Redbud Classic has been committed to its mission for over three decades. Throughout the years\, the Redbud has offered numerous opportunities for families\, friends and the entire community to join together in an exciting event\, geared for all ages and fitness levels.\n\nSince the Redbud Classic began\, it has experienced tremendous growth and strong community support- both from the private and corporate sectors. Today the Redbud remains focused on offering the community quality events while encouraging competition and fitness. Redbud Classic is committed to being Oklahoma City's premier local fitness event while donating money to local non-profits.\n\n \n\nSaturday\, April 9 // 7 7:30 a.m. start\n\nStreets close at 6:30 a.m. Start   Waterford Complex Building\, NW 63rd Street and Pennsylvania. 50 Mile tour riders start first then 33 mile riders with 10 mile riders last. Finish for all tours is on 63rd Street just east of Pennsylvania.Please note: Riders arriving at the Jones Plaza on Main in Jones after 9 AM will be required to return on the 33 mile course. All courses close at 11 am.. It is each rider's responsibility to select the appropriate distance based upon his/her level of fitness. At least two sweep trucks/sag wagons will be available on the course to return riders to the Waterford Complex Building\n\nAfter Ride Celebration\n\nThe annual after-ride/run celebration includes live entertainment\, refreshments\, awards\, and drawings.  A Bike Drawing will be held at 11 a.m.   Pancakes courtesy of the Waterford Marriott and Oklahoma Natural Gas will be provided for all cyclists. Donations are welcome and will directly benefit The Peppers Ranch Foster Care Community.\n\n \n\n1 MILE KID'S FUN RUN\n\nSaturday\, April 9 // 11a.m. 1p.m.\n\nNichols Hills Plaza. N. Western & Avondale Drive. Activites begin at 11a.m.\, and the fitness run begins at noon. A  one mile run/walk/stroll for children ages 1-12. Registration is required for this event. Pre-race activities and entertainment provided by Peppers Ranch Foster Care Community. Little Caesars Pizza will provide pizza to all participants.
